Lisa Armstrong has revealed that her make-up range with Avon has been discontinued.
The make-up guru, who recently celebrated her 45th birthday, was asked by a fan why her products were no longer available, prompting her to clear up the speculation on Twitter.
"Morning, why am I being told Avon are stopping stocking your range?" one fan asked to which Lisa responded: "Because they are hun… x."
Confirmation that her products were no longer for sale left her fans devastated and the Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist clarified that her partnership with Avon was only supposed to be for three years.
"It's was an amazing partnership which I have loved every second off!!! It's was only ever a signature collection for 3 years and now the time is up…." she explained.
"Sorry to see you leave Avon. I love your primer i use it every day good luck Lisa xx" another fan tweeted.
Lisa replied saying: "Yeah me too but we say goodbye on good terms…. Was a brilliant partnership and so proud of what we achieved!! X"
The beauty guru's partnership with Avon was undoubtedly successful and at the time of her launch revealed that she wanted her products to be "affordable" and "wearable".
"After 20 years of experience as a make-up artist, I want to share my expertise to create a luxurious collection of professional make-up bag must-haves that are wearable, approachable and affordable," she had written on Avon's website.
"With this experience, I've created a range that I couldn't do my job without, so you can benefit from my know-how whilst creating your own signature look."
An Avon spokesperson added on the site: "Lisa's lipsticks are named after close friends that are independent women who have supported and inspired her.
Lisa previously spoke about paying tribute to her friends by naming her products after them.
She told You magazine that "the girls that have supported me in the past few years while I've been developing this."
Her friends have also supported her through her devastating split from Ant McPartlin.
Lisa and Ant's 23-year relationship and 11-year marriage came to an end in January 2018.
She had stood by her childhood sweetheart during his sobriety battle – including a court appearance for drink-driving and two rehab stints. Sources reported at the time that she put her own dreams of becoming a mum on hold to support Ant.
Months after their split, his romance with former PA Anne-Marie Corbett – who he wed in August this year – was made public.
Lisa has moved on and has been in a relationship with James Green since August 2020.
