Britney Spears has revealed she spent the night crying in sheer joy as she thanked her fans for their support amid her conservatorship finally coming to an end.
Last week judge Brenda Penny in the US suspended Britney's father, Jamie Spears, from her conservatorship after 13 years, and he was ordered to hand over relevant documents to a temporary conservator for Britney's estate, John Zabel.
And 39 year old Britney has now gleefully admitted that her life is finally heading in the "right direction" in a powerful message shared to her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Monday.
"#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship," the Oops… I Did It Again singer wrote.
Sharing a short clip of herself posing in different angles and lighting, Britney added: "My life is now in that direction!!!!!
"I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it … I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true!!!!!," she concluded.
She added in a separate tweet: "I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true Revolving hearts!!!!!"
As well as her dedicated army fans, Britney's celebrity pals were also quick to comment under her video and message.
Miley Cyrus wrote: "You look soooooooo good" while fashion designer Vera Wang wrote: "#FREEBRITNEY! XXX".
Britney is currently celebrating with her fiancé Sam Asghari on a sun-drenched getaway. The pair announced their engagement just weeks before her dad Jamie was removed as her conservator.
According to reports by The Mirror, the star wants to tie the knot with the fitness trainer either before or on her 40th birthday on 2 December, preferably in Hawaii.
This comes after Britney's father Jamie was suspended from her conservatorship after 13 years.
Judge Brenda Penny agreed that it was in Britney's "best interests" for her father to be removed, and the court was told his continued involvement was "toxic".
The singer's lawyers also requested for a new hearing to be held in next month to 45 days to decide if her conservatorship should end completely.
After being officially suspended from her longtime conservatorship, Jamie issued a statement last week.
