Catherine Tyldesley has hit back at a cruel jibe from a troll who said she had “big fat legs”.
The former Coronation Street star, 37, slammed her hater in a sassy video posted on her Instagram story.
Actress Catherine, who recently revealed her husband and son have tested positive for coronavirus antibodies, had a few strong words for the troll as she filmed herself in the clip.
Addressing the unknown man who had sent her the nasty message, she said: “Now it's not often your Auntie Cath gets trolled, I'm very lucky like that, I've got lots of wonderful, positive people in my life.

“You do get the occasional twonk.
“So to the guy yesterday… bless ya, who said I had big fat legs, babes, I've been training these legs for seven years, this s**t don't wobble.
“And I guarantee I could dead-lift or squat your entire bodyweight, my love, so things just got really awkward, really fast, didn't they? God bless you, darling, find a life, come on.”
This isn’t the first time Catherine has had to hit back at trolls, as the Strictly Come Dancing star was targeted last month over her looks.
The stunning star had uploaded a photo of herself on her Instagram showing off her natural beauty, which she captioned with the hashtags #grownupvibes and #neutral style.
But she was hit by cruel comments about her looks as one person wrote: “You need to eat a sandwich.”
To which she fired back with: “Do I tho? What a strange comment…”
Fans then backed the actress as one clapped back at the troll with: “Rude.”
However, that didn’t stop others from making mean comments as another troll wrote: “You have a man’s jaw.”

Catherine decided to approach the situation with kindness as she said: “I'm proud of my jawline… it's strong… like me. Sending you love and healing. I hope you find inner peace with yourself. God bless.”
The actress had a difficult time during lockdown as her mother and grandfather caught coronavirus.
After her mother was admitted into hospital and eventually beat the virus, Catherine admitted she “couldn’t function” when her mum was in intensive care.
As she posted a snap of herself crying on Instagram, she admitted in the caption: “Lockdown has brought up many emotions for many people. Some days have been incredibly hard. Dark. Unworkable.
“When my mum was in ICU I could barely function. It seemed all I could do was cry.”
