Davina McCall has recalled the heartbreaking moment she collapsed into tears after discovering her sister Caroline's tragic cancer diagnosis.
Former Big Brother presenter Davina, 53, was delivered the harrowing news that her sister had weeks to live in 2012.
Davina rushed Caroline to A&E with a suspected stroke in 2012, but tests later revealed she had terminal lung cancer.
The Masked Singer judge Davina, who recently showed off her figure in a white bikini, fought back tears and was "scooped up" by a nurse who comforted the host.
Recalling the heartbreaking moment, Davina has told The Sun: "We got the very, very bad diagnosis in A&E.
"I had to keep it together for Caroline because she was going through a much worse time than I was but every now and again I’d go into the corridor and have a meltdown.
"This one nurse came out and rubbed my back as I cried.
"She told me to take my moment and then pull myself together and get back in there for my sister."
Just weeks later, Caroline passed away age 50 on 1 August 2012.
Years on from her sister's passing, Davina has revealed she will always remember the incredible kindness and support from the NHS staff.
"That empathy means the world," Davina said. "And the nurse and I still remember each other.
"Whenever I’m in A&E after one of the kids has got into a scrape we give each other a little nod.
"That experience is very intense, very bonding — and most of us know that feeling.
"It means everything, really. The love we feel for the NHS is like a bottomless pit."
Back in 2016, Davina discussed her sister Caroline's last few weeks.
She praised her sibling as Davina said: "Caroline was unbelievable – there was something about her acceptance of death, her willingness to say 'I’m not going to freak out and fight it and make you feel scared'.

"I know she was doing it for us – she was so brave. I’d see her pulling it out of the bag for her friends to make them feel better when she was so exhausted."
TV star Davina also admitted she regretted not spotting the warning signs of her sister's cancer two years later.
She said: "We were in total shock. I couldn't breathe, trying to be strong for Caroline but she was the strong one.
"The traumatic diagnosis was all the worse because it came out of the blue – yes, Caroline smoked with impunity, yes she'd had a cough for as long as we can remember, but neither of us saw this as a warning sign.
"She was getting quite clumsy, which we now know was because her peripheral vision had disappeared.
"Now I know these were all signs. I look back and wonder if I could have done something differently – it's the greatest regret of my life."
