Ex-Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, has posted a number of hilarious snaps to his Instagram account of himself and his pregnant wife, actress Liz Marsland as they prepare to welcome twins.
Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin couldn't help but remark: “that bump is MASSIVE” as he shared the photos with fans.
The actor, 38, and his wife are expecting twins in the late spring or early summer, so there’s little wonder behind the tongue-in-cheek caption.
The pictures were snapped in a car, with Kelvin pulling a series of funny faces, and a comfily-clad Liz laughing along in the background.
Kelvin was dressed in a black and white button up shacket, whilst Liz rocked her pregnancy glow in a casual pink jumper and oversized denim jacket. She flashed a hot pink manicure as she giggled at Kelvin from behind her hands.
Liz has been documenting her pregnancy on her Instagram account, posting some glamorous and some wholesome snaps. The couple announced the pregnancy with some gorgeous family farming photos on their respective Instagram accounts back in December 2021.
On his post, Kelvin said: “Team Fletcher is about to get bigger. Can’t tell you how happy we all are. We feel extremely grateful and can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family. Thank you for all your kind messages. We are gonna need another pair of wellies.”
The post on Liz’s Instagram read: “There’s a little baby bump under that coat! What an amazing way to end 2021!! We couldn’t be happier”.
The couple are already proud parents two children; daughter Marnie, five, and son Milo, two, all of whom have appeared on their recent BBC One TV series, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.
In January, they revealed to BBC Breakfast hosts, Sally Nugent and Dan Walker, that they were expecting twins.
Kelvin said: “So we're having twins. It was an absolute eye-opener. So come May, we'll be delivering lambs for the first time. I'm not going to be delivering babies as such but it is going to be a really busy time!”

Given that the actor played farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale for 20 years – since the tender age of 12 – it seems that he caught the farming bug, and wanted to try it out for himself.
The family moved from Fletcher’s hometown of Oldham to a 120-acre 18th Century farm in the Peak District.
Admittedly novices when it comes to the world of farming, the TV series follows the family as they get to grips with the trade, their surroundings, and the community.
