Essex icon Gemma Collins is used to being the centre of attention, and her outfit for the Chelsea Flower Show was no different as she stunned fans with her bold look.

The former TOWIE star stole the show as she appeared at the event in a huge bejewelled yellow cloak on Monday.

Gemma's giant cloak featured a large collar with sparkling jewels dotted around as it was paired with a pastel pink gown underneath her extra outerwear.

The star opted for comfort as well, matching her pink platform trainers to her pink dress instead of heels for the gardening event.

Patrick McDowell, who designed her cloak, was on hand to help carry Gemma's train as she arrived at the flower show.

Gemma shared a photo of her striking outfit with her fans on Instagram, encouraging everyone to go and visit the Chelsea Flower Show.

She captioned it: "Happiest amongst the plants@the_rhswhat a beautiful day everyone should make the time to come and visit the Chelsea flower show ABSOLUTELY STUNNING."

In her previous post, Gemma revealed her whole look was made sustainably and encouraged fans to be sustainable when shopping for clothes.

The 40-year-old wrote: "If it’s not SUSTAINABLE then I’m not wearing it!!!!"

"Guys we all need to be wearing sustainable clothes it’s great for the planet.

"It’s time to change this, make this world a better place for our children and our children’s children.

"Heal the world make it a better place we must respect our planet more then ever it’s the right thing to do be conscious of your future#getsustainablewithme."

This isn't the first time the reality star has posted about becoming more environmentally friendly.

Just last week Gemma shared information about the importance of being kind to bees as they play a vital role in our eco-systems.

She told fans on Instagram: "Most of us tend to think of bees in relation to pollination, yet insect pollinators are an incredibly diverse group.

"Honeybees are mostly kept in managed hives, and are likely responsible for pollinating between 5-15% of the UK's insect-pollinated crops."

Gemma opened up last month about her plans to get pregnant with current boyfriend Rami Hawash, 46.

The pair were engaged in 2013 before getting back together in April of this year.

Due to health reasons, Gemma has struggled to get pregnant in the past and has tragically miscarried before.

She told The Sun that she wants to document her journey to pregnancy with boyfriend Rami on TV show.

She added: "It’s not so easy for me to get pregnant because of PCOS, so we’re going to make a show about that called Gemma Collins: Making the Baby."
