Gogglebox fans in awe as the Malones introduce new addition to family

Gogglebox’s Malone family has left fans delighted after introducing a new addition to the family.

The fan favourites have been known to have their furry friends alongside them since filming the Channel 4 show in 2014.

But over the years, three out of four Rottweilers have passed away which left owners Julie, Tom Senior, and their son Shaun devastated.

However, on Thursday, the family revealed their adorable new Rottweiler puppy to their 142,000 Twitter followers.

The Malones captioned the snap: "We are proud to announce our new addition, Tilly. Isn't she beautiful?"

The exciting news caused fans to flock to the comments section with congratulatory messages. Some even showed off their cute pooches.

One user commented: “Absolutely fl*p*in' gorgeous. We lost our two within 6 months of each other…. 16 yrs and 9yrs… just can't decide whether I can do it again xxx”.

Another posted a picture with their rottie wearing dark shades with the caption “Rotties are just the best!”

“Omg she is soo cute” gushed a third as a fourth quipped: “Can’t beat a rotti” with a love heart emoji.

The name ‘Tilly’ seemed to be a fan favourite, as other pet owners used it for their furry friends.

“Beautiful girl, love the name, we had a terrier mix with the same name who passed away in 2018 at the grand old age of 18. Our pets bring so much joy and love,” wrote another.

One show viewer was curious to know how many more pets the family had as their dogs, Frank, Izzey and Lucy sadly passed away.

“Wow so beautiful – hey Tilly, hope to see you on tv soon. How many others do you still have – is Dave still about ?” they commented.

Since posting the snap Thursday morning, it has amassed 31,000 likes and more than 400 retweets.

The news comes after the family left fans with concerns due to their absence from the new Google box series.

However, they assured viewers that they would be back and confirmed the reason for them not appearing in the first episode, which aired after the Queen's death aged 96, was down to the fact that they are on holiday.

Taking to Instagram in front of the famous globe at Disney's Epcot Center, Tom Snr said: "We're on holiday…Jesus Christ, it doesn't feel like it with this lot, let me tell you that! We're in Florida, so we're not here for the first few shows."

Tom signed off by telling fans to enjoy the show without them, adding that they'd be back "in a few weeks".
