Harry Potter fans are going wild over the trailer for the franchise’s 20th anniversary reunion, which will see the stars of the films meet again for a one-off special.
Lead actors Danielle Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are among those set to reunite for the Return to Hogwarts special, which is due to air on New Year’s Day.
The HBO Max special will feature other lead stars from the films, which were released between 2001 and 2011, with the teaser trailer giving fans a preview of what they can expect from the new release.
The trailer features appearances from Hagrid actor Robbie Coltrane, as well as Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom and Mark Williams, who played Mr Weasley.
News of the reunion was announced last month, with the cast of the eight films reuniting to discuss the Harry Potter franchise two decades after the first film was released in 2001.
Daniel, Emma and Rupert – who played the lead roles of Harry, Hermione and Ron – have not made a public appearance together since the last premiere of the franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, in July 2011.
