AceShowbizJ Money is the latest hip-hop star who fell victim to a street crime. The Atlanta rapper was reportedly shot and robbed while sitting inside of a Rolls-Royce Phantom in Koreatown. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Los Angeles Police Department officials confirm that J Money was sitting inside the luxury vehicle which was parked in front of a luxury apartment complex called Kurve, which sits at Wilshire and Hoover, on the border of Los Angeles’ Koreatown and Westlake neighborhoods. The robbery and shooting took place just before 4:20 P.M. on Friday, November 18.

Eyewitness footage reportedly shows the aftermath of the incident, where police and paramedics arrived at the scene to help the victim, who appeared to be wounded but able to walk with the help of others. LAPD officials also note that the victim was conscious and breathing upon their arrival, but he was later transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspects took J Money’s Rolex watch and three metal chains of unknown material. No arrests have been made as the suspects had fled the scene before cops arrived. LAPD believes the crime involved two male suspects, but their identities are still unknown.

Meanwhile, following investigation it’s revealed that the Rolls-Royce did not belong to J Money. It’s believed that he rented the vehicle from Andrew Lee, who is the registered owner of the car. Lee is also identified as the heir to the Joseon Dynasty, which ruled Korea from 1392 up until 1897. It remains unknown whether he was the victim or whether he was in the car at the time of the robbery.
