Kate Garraway's husband's coronavirus battle is now the longest in the UK after he has spent six months in hospital.
Derek Draper, 53, was hospitalised on 28 March, meaning he has now spent 184 days in hospital battling the deadly bug.
The Good Morning Britain host's husband is now thought to be the UK's longest surviving coronavirus victim still receiving treatment in hospital.
He has now beaten Fatima Bridle, 35, who arrived home in August after spending 141 days in hospital, being on a ventilator for 105 of those days.

A friend of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Kate says: "Kate has been so brave and her strength is awe-inspiring.
"But the truth is that progress is very, very slow. Derek has now been hospitalised for six months which makes him one of only a handful of people who have been in hospital for this long.
"It's incredibly tough for Kate though because some days he shows signs of improvement, and then 24 hours later he has taken a worrying turn for the worse. It's literally one step forward, two steps back.
"She can't believe Derek has been in hospital for this long, but she is so grateful that he is still here, and that gives her hope when so many have lost their lives in this pandemic," the pal continued to tell The Sun Online.
Despite the news of Derek's battle becoming the UK's longest, Kate looked in high spirits as she stepped out on Monday.
The 53 year old was photographed walking down the street as she exited Global studios, where she hosts a show on Smooth Radio.

The presenter looked stunning as she donned a black long-sleeved top, which featured ruffled sleeves and a multi-coloured thin scarf tied at the neck.
She teamed the gorgeous top with a pair of loose high-waisted bright orange trousers, which matched her cheery mood. The star completed the ensemble with a pair of black suede boots.
Kate kept the accessories to a minimum as she stepped out with just her wedding ring on as a jewellery item.

However, she did bring along a large beige handbag as well as a turquoise-coloured shopping bag, which were both draped over her shoulder.
Kate, who appeared to wear very little make-up, also held onto a bag from coffee shop Pret, clearly having become peckish during the radio show.
The blonde beauty, who styled her mane straight down to frame her face, flashed her gorgeous smile for the cameras as she made her way down to a waiting car to take her home.
