Little Mix appear to drop another hint theyre set to split in awkward interview

Little Mix awkwardly dodged a question from Australian Smallzy’s Surgery's radio host who asked the group what’s next for them.

In light of Jesy Nelson leaving the band last year, there have been ongoing rumours that the trio plan on soon splitting up.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards were chatting to the host when he begged the question: “Do I ask what’s next? Is that a question that collectively there’s no known answer for?”

Following a brief, awkward silence, Leigh-Anne danced around the question and replied: “Well, I mean, I just think Little Mix, ten years in, it’s something that can never really die.”

Meanwhile, her fellow bandmates Jade and Perrie can be heard giggling in the background.

Prior to the host’s question, Jade described the three of them as a “throuple”.

She said: “No matter what in the future, we’ll always have each other. We’re a throuple, in this together.”

Jade was also asked to address the rumours split during a Q&A on TikTok for KISS FM on Tuesday 2 November.

Little Mix fans asked the Heartbreak Anthem singer what’s next for Little Mix, to which Jade simply replied that they will be enjoying Christmas before the 2022 Confetti tour.

While Jesy left the band last year, it’s reported thatPerrie wanted to leave the group a year before.

According to The Sun Online, Perrie expressed her wish of wanting to leave the band in 2019, but decided to stay with Little Mix until after their Confetti tour.

Speaking to the publication, an insider revealed: "This idea that everyone was happy in the band prior to Jesy leaving is a smokescreen.

"Perrie actually told the band she was thinking about leaving in 2019 which prompted a sit down with management."

The source continued: "Then in an October 2020 meeting Jesy made it clear she was suffering and she felt like she couldn’t continue," adding that this news also "didn’t come out of the blue for the girls as Jesy suffered a panic attack live on Radio 1 just weeks before".

The rumours come as 28 year old new mum Perrie has launched her own clothing brand.

Meanwhile, some Little Mix fans hope that the rumours aren’t true afterthe band appeared to dismiss the claims.

Along with announcing the news of their new album, Little Mix said in a statement: “After 10 years of being together Little Mix are known trailblazers for girl groups globally, leaving their mark on pop culture history.

"Celebrating 10 years with no signs of slowing down, Little Mix give the world what they know best… their seventh studio album 'Between Us'."
