Brooke Vincent has expressed her disappointment as she says she’s unlikely to be able have a baby shower for her second child due to coronavirus.
After exclusively revealing to OK! this week that she’s due to welcome baby number two with her partner Kean Bryan, the Coronation Street star took to Instagram to open up about her baby shower plans.
Back in August last year, actress, Brooke and footballer, Kean, threw an extravagant party full of friends and family before welcoming their first child, Mexx, two months later.
However, unfortunately due to COVID, Brooke recently took to her social media to reveal that she may have to rethink her plans with their second bundle of joy, who’s due next Spring.
“I’m not going to lie I had an absolute ball at our baby shower,” she said, referring to Mexx’s lavish do. “We had so many friends and family and so many memories were made.”
“I don’t think I’ll be able to do that again,” Brooke continued before joking that it could just be her, Kean and Mexx attending the next baby shower.
Despite her sadness that she may have due to not be able to throw the same celebration that she could when she was expecting Mexx, Brooke is over the moon that she is soon to be a mum of two children under the age of two.

Alongside a gorgeous OK! photo shoot, the actress, who’s best known for her days of playing Sophie Webster on ITV’s Corrie said: “We wanted more children and we wanted them close together, so we’re both really happy.”
The 28 year old mum also revealed that her and Kean, 24, are keeping the baby’s gender a surprise.
“We’re not going to find out.” she said. “With Mexx, everyone had their opinion. Even my midwife was like, ‘I think it’s a girl!’ Everyone thought it was a girl, so then I thought it was a girl.”
But the actress went on to clarify how she’d be happy for Mexx to have a baby brother or sister this time round.
“Everyone says this, but I think it’s more magnified when you’re actually having a baby that you just want them to be healthy, so I really don’t mind,” she said.
Brooke also exclusively talked to OK! about baby names, saying her and Kean still have names they “love” from when she was pregnant with Mexx.
“We absolutely still love some of the names we were speaking about for Mexx,” she explained “It’s strange because once you see them, you know whether the name suits them or not.”
