Rachel Riley made a television appearance after giving birth to her baby girl a few weeks ago today. The Countdown star was a guest on Lorraine on ITV as she gave an update on her new baby.
Rachel gave birth to baby girl Noa two weeks ago after a home birth.
She shares her daughter with her former Strictly Come Dancing partner and husband Pasha Kovalev.
Chatting about their new addition earlier today, she said: “I’m in that new mum daze.
“She’s just gorgeous. I’ve got two little girls now.
“Noa, she’s two weeks old, so she was born on bonfire night, 15 days after she was supposed to arrive.
“There were fireworks as I was contracting at home.”
Rachel went on to add how Pasha is in a “house of women” as the pair also have daughter Maven, two.
Speaking about how her daughter reacted to the new baby, the Countdown star admitted she had a hilarious reaction.
She continued: “When we introduced her to her, she checked her tummy because she was telling us that she had a baby in her tummy.
“So she was like, ‘Oh it’s out now!’. Good to know, painless for her.
“She’s absolutely gorgeous with her, she just wants to kiss her.”
Rachel announced the birth of her baby girl on Twitter a few weeks ago.
Sharing photos with Pasha, she penned: “We have some news…!
“Introducing @PashaKovalev’s newest dance partner – baby Noa was finally born, 15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks!
“She’s totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that’s a good sign.
“Massive thanks to the wonderful home birth midwives team and my doula who looked after us all so well.”
Following her appearance on the show today, Lorraine thanked her for coming on.
She penned: Lovely to see you @RachelRileyRR – good luck with #atsixesandsevens.”
Plenty of Rachel’s other fans were also excited to see her on screens as well.
