Former Strictly Come Dancing star Jamie Laing, 33, shared the happy news in an Instagram post. He uploaded a video of himself with his fiancee, Sophie Habboo, as she donned a white cap with the words: “Mrs Laing-to-be.”
The Made in Chelsea stars looked madly in love as Sophie kissed her fiancé’s cheek before covering her face with her hands.
Alongside the adorable clip, Jamie shared a series of pictures of them celebrating their engagement with espresso martini cocktails.
Former heartbreaker Jamie penned: “I couldn’t think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you.”
Since the couple broke the news, they have been inundated with congratulatory messages.
Strictly pro Oti Mabuse said: “Congratulations Jamie and Sophie!”
Her co-star Neil Jones wrote: “Yes yes yes. Congratulations you two I’m soooo happy for you both.”
Made in Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo replied: “Oh I’m so pleased, how wonderful xx.”
Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas also sent her congratulations, simply saying “yay” with four love heart emojis.
Jamie and Sophie have been together since 2019 and their relationship played out on Made in Chelsea.
The pair lived together during lockdown and Sophie has previously said that she hoped Jamie would pop the question soon.
She told Closer magazine: “I can’t wait for Christmas if it goes ahead, then it will be extra special because of last year’s lockdown.
“I’m planning to go skiing with my family and Jamie is going to be in the same place so we can meet up, it’s the best of both worlds.

“I used to be a bit of a party girl, but these days I am pretty healthy. I don’t drink much, but when I do, I go for it and have fun.
“So, I probably will on New Year’s Eve. Who knows… maybe Jamie will propose!”
Jamie took part in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing with Karen Hauer and made it all the way to the final.
He originally signed up to compete in the 2019 series and was partnered with Oti Mabuse.
However, he injured his foot and had to pull out and was replaced by that year’s winner Kelvin Fletcher.
Jamie has admitted that taking part in Strictly made him a better man.
Writing in his autobiography, I Can Explain, he said he had been “an absolute w***** in his youth”.
He wrote: “I don’t want it to sound like I’m blaming anyone else for the way I behaved, but with reality TV you can’t go into a scene talking about the weather.
