How to make Trisha’s delicious game-day favorite

Making Yearwood’s Sweet Chile Garlic wings could not be easier.

First, prepare the chicken. Rinse and clean chicken wings.

First, preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Then use two large baking pans and line with parchment paper, so the wings do not stick to the pans.

The next step is simple enough. Divide the wings between the pans so they have enough room to cook evenly.

Sprinkle both sides of the meat with salt and pepper.

Roast in the oven for around 45 minutes or until cooked through and the skin is crispy.

While the chicken roasts, make the sauce.

Place a small saucepan atop the stove. Add the butter to melt. Keep the fat on a low flame and observe, so it does not burn.

Once the butter melts, add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Toast the flakes and brown the garlic. Then, add the jam, sugar, soy sauce, and siracha. Simmer for several minutes to combine then, add the sauce to a bowl large enough to cat the wings in.

When the wings are cooked toss them in the sauce to coat well.

Add chopped scallions to the top for color and a layer of mild onion flavor.
