Hypebeast was on the ground to capture some of the best trends at Seoul Fashion Week. This past week, Seoul hosted the Fall/Winter 2023 fashion week, bringing together both international and local media from all over the world into the Korean capital.
This season saw an eclectic mix of footwear choices, including everything from your typical luxury mules and sneakers to practical footwear from Asics and Salomon. Despite Balenciaga‘s media snafu, fashion lovers in Seoul were not put off by the controversy and continued to sport some of the most popular models from Demna. Amongst the Balenciaga shoes seen were its Balenciaga HardCroc Mules which dropped last year in the midst of the Croc frenzy. The dramatized platform and silver metal details make this mule the go-to slip-on for street style fans who want to bridge luxury with comfort. The Balenciaga track sneakers also made an appearance during Seoul Fashion Week. Other luxury brands that made a statement in footwear include the Louis Vuitton LV Trainer, a pair of technical Chanel sneakers, and Rick Owens Black Geobasket Sneakers.
When it comes to practicality and comfort, Seoul Fashion Week showgoers brought out the sought-afterA-COLD-WALL* x Nike Zoom Vomero +5, classic adidas models like the Campus, New Balance running shoes like the 993 and 530- as well as the Asics Gel Venture.
