Dance Monkey singer Tones and I marries in secret Bali ceremony

Australian singer Tones and I has revealed that she secretly tied the knot with her footballer fiancé in Bali.

The notoriously private star, 27, whose real name is Toni Watson, shared the news via Instagram on Wednesday, gushing over marrying her ‘best friend’, Jimmy Bedford.

She also posted a slew of photos from their big day, which showed off her long-sleeved simple white gown and gorgeous matching bridal bouquet.

Her new husband matched his pocket handkerchief to her flowers and opted for a navy suit, white shirt and patterned tie.

‘Well, we weren’t planning on spreading the news until after the single dropped but I MARRIED my best friend!’ she began her caption.

Segueing away from her personal life, she then added: ‘So anyway Pre save “I am free” click the link in my bio [sic]! Love’s the real winner!

Many of her famous friends rushed to share their congratulations in the comment section.

‘You two 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ CONGRATS!!!!!!’ enthused Macklemore, while cricketer David Warne posted: ‘How goods this, congrats you two 👌 [sic].’

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause added: ‘I’m so so so happy for you guys!!!’

Jimmy shared his own photos, including one that showed the couple from afar exchanging vows underneath a gazebo and gave a full-length look at Tones’ wedding dress and veil.

‘My best friend became my WIFE on the weekend! What a celebration of love it was!’ he wrote.

‘Thanks everyone for celebrating with us ❤️ @tonesandi’

Tones and Jimmy also let loose at their wedding reception, where she could be seen in a large white hat and Jimmy stripped to his waist as they enjoyed the festivities with their friends and family.

The Dance Monkey chart-topper opted for a sunny peach colour for her numerous bridesmaids, who all wore a different style of dress.

The pair got engaged in January 2022 after two years of dating.

At the time, she announced the news by uploading a picture of them sharing a kiss as she showed off her diamond ring.

Jimmy is reportedly a former bricklayer and player for Frankston Bombers, an Australian rules football club based in Victoria, Australia.

He now works on his wife’s technical crew as a stage technician when she’s on tour.
