Following a highly-anticipated collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS, Hysteric Glamour returns with an expansive series of winter staples in collaboration with WIND AND SEA. Created by then-21-year-old artist Nobuhiko Kitamura in 1984, Hysteric Glamour’s vibrant designs take inspiration from ’60s and ’70s American pop culture, offering a youthful Americana spin on classic silhouettes.
For its latest project, it taps Takashi Kumagai‘s streetwear label WIND AND SEA once again for a wide range of goods, combining WIND AND SEA’s minimalistic look and skate influences with Hysteric Glamour’s punk roots and signature aesthetic. Standout pieces from the series include the rider jackets fitted with silver metallic hardware and retro logo appliques, double-knee painter pants featuring “HYS”/”SEA” co-branding, and combat-style duck boots incorporating extended tongues and sizing numbers on the bottoms. Additional pieces in the collection include tufted sweats, distressed denim, tracksuits, varsity jackets, flannels, and a variety of knitwear.
The collection is now available via Hysteric Glamour and WIND AND SEA‘s web stores and locations.
