Despite being a brand more so geared towards finance bros and those with preppy fashion sensibilities, J. Crew will often dabble into various collaborative projects to expand its audience. We’ve seen the imprint do this with its recent collection alongside NOAH founder Brendon Babenzien, and now we’re seeing it partner up with BEAMS PLUS for a fall-friendly apparel and accessories collection.
For this collaboration, the Japanese streetwear label drew inspiration from Americana style and implemented prep and uniform elements into the range. Standing out in the outerwear category is a chore jacket that comes styled with corduroy fabric and patchwork details and military-inspired hues as well as the hooded mil coat that comes in a warm brown and a reversible liner blouson that’s embellished with paisley graphics. Other key tops include a navy blazer, patchwork CPO shirt that comes fitted with stripes and a wool cardigan that’s dripped out in diamond patterns. In case you were on the hunt for new bottoms, BEAMS PLUS has readied corduroy utility pants and plaid trousers. Additionally, you can find playful accessories in the capsule such as plaid bucket hats and paisley ties.

Elsewhere in fashion, Heron Preston’s SS23 collection has been announced.
