German tuning workshop NOVITEC has tapped into Ferrari‘s 812 GTS for its latest project, creating a Spider worthy of the tracks.
Setting out with the goal to make the Prancing Horse look even sportier than it already does, the company utilized naked carbon fiber components coupled with various redesigned aerodynamic parts, including a front spoiler lip and surround for the central air intake, a three-piece spoiler lip at the rear, and a contoured bumper design with complementing diffusers. Down low, three forged wheel-tire combinations will be available, all of which were jointly developed with American firm Vossen and staggered in diameter, while the exhaust system has been upgraded with a series of options too, including a variant from INCONEL, an expert creating exhaust systems for Formula 1.
As for power, NOVITEC upgraded the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated four-valve V12 engine with its own High Performance exhaust system, which increases the car’s output to a whopping 840 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 751 Nm that comes in at 7,300 rpm. Together, the 812 can now make 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 345 km/h.
