Saturday marked 11 years since Carrie Underwood walked down the aisle and said “I do” to Mike Fisher.
Over the weekend, the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer shared a recent but casual snap of the two sitting at the dinner table.
“Happy anniversary, babe! 11 years sure have flown by,” Underwood, 38, gushed in the caption, “here’s to many, many more! Love you!”
Fisher, 41, also marked the milestone on his personal Instagram, sharing a throwback picture of their wedding day.
“Happy anniversary @carrieunderwood hard to believe this was 11 years ago today,” the former NHL star expressed in the caption. “Here’s to many more with the best partner I could imagine!!”

Last year, Underwood recalled the story of how she first met her future husband, saying they connected through her bassist Mark Childers, who worked with another of Fisher’s friends to set them up because they thought they’d be perfect for each other.
Speaking on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in December, the ‘American Idol” winner said that Childers tried setting the two up for a very long time, but plans always fell through.
Eventually, things worked out when Fisher drove out to see Underwood in concert and the two got to speak face-to-face at the meet and greet.
“It was awkward,” Underwood deadpanned, recalling how Fisher felt when he stood in line alongside a ton of young girls to meet his future wife, “But, you know, it makes for a good story now.”
