With hampers becoming extremely popular, they are one of the best gifts on the market because they contain a variety of different presents, suitable for all. Discount retailer Aldi launched its Christmas hampers earlier than ever this year, with the range being sold exclusively online.

Each hamper contains food and drink and prices range from £19-£99.

The cheapest of the hampers is The Christmas Favourites Hamper which is available online at £19.41.

In total there are five goodies inside including a bottle of Specially Selected Argentinian Malbec, Iced Fruit Cake, Moser Roth Salted Caramel Truffles, a Chocolate Florentine Selection and Strawberry & Champagne Preserve.

There is also a vegan hamper which costs £26.35.

In The Vegan Hamper, there is a range of delicious treats including Strawberry Gourmet Gummy Candies, Chocolate Chip Vegan Cookies, Earl Grey Tea Bags, Moser Roth Strawberry Creams, Moser Roth Organic Dark Chocolate, Free-From Christmas Pudding, Medjoul Dates, Salted Caramel Vegan Truffles and a bottle of Estevez Chilean Merlot. 

The Chocolate Celebration Hamper contains a range of chocolate goodies as is available to buy for £28.25.

The Afternoon Treats Selection Hamper contains all goodies associated with afternoon tea including shortbread, tea, coffee and marmalade.

This costs just £29.44 and fans have branded it as a dupe of the expensive Fortnum & Mason wicker hampers.

The other three are part of the luxury collection and prices range between £59.93 and £99.56.

These include a whole range of goodies including a Christmas cake, champagne and a set of jams. 

For £99, you’ll get 25 goodies including three bottles of booze – Veuve Monsigny Champagne, Argentinian Malbec and A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

With prices starting at £20, M&S’ hampers are available to re-order right now with delivery from November 4.

The Christmas Afternoon Treats Gift Set is the cheapest one available at £20 and it includes a selection of delicious treats like milk chocolate truffles, teabags, fruit cake, jam, marmalade and shortbread.

The Classic Christmas Gift Box contains festive goodies like fruit cake, soft jam, Christmas pudding, Jaffa cakes and shortbread.

M&S also has two more expensive hampers priced at £40 and £50, both of which contain a bottle of clementine and cranberry Bucks Fizz.

Each hamper comes beautifully presented in its own gift box, which means it doesn’t even need wrapping.


A traditional hamper comes in a wicker basket but this year, Lakeland has decided to put their food items in a reusable tote bag.

With prices starting at £24.99, customers can choose from an array of different hamper bags, all including different goodies like biscuits, gin as well as sweets and salted caramel sauce.

The For the Love of Honey Hamper Tote is packed with honey-flavoured treats including Honey & Oat Biscuits, Honey Mustard, Blossom Honey and BBQ Sauce with Honey.
