A former Playboy Playmate has been arrested for possession of methamphetamine after police searched the car she was travelling in.
Valerie Mason, 31, was in the passenger seat of the vehicle when it was pulled over on Friday for a broken rear light in Ouachita Paris, Louisiana, US.
Officers found a needle and two grammes of suspected meth in a container inside the car, in addition to drug paraphernalia in the male driver's pocket.
Mason, the driver and another passenger – who was sat in the back – all denied owning the drugs, TMZ reports.
The model was Playmate of the Month in the September 2008 magazine and starred in five episodes of the Playboy Mansion show, The Girls Next Door, from 2008 to 2009.
She reportedly sent pictures of herself directly to Playboy owner Hugh Hefner before he featured her in his magazine and made her one of his girlfriends.
Mason was released on Saturday after paying $3,000 (£2,353) bond.
She is not the only former Playboy model to be busted by police in recent months.
Kelsey Nicole Turner, who posed for Playboy Italia, was arrested on suspicion of murdering a doctor in Las Vegas in March.
The 26-year-old has pleaded not guilty to killing Dr. Thomas Burchard, 71, whose body was found in the boot of her car, according to reports.
Officers found blood in the backseat of the car, with a post-mortem revealing that he died from blunt force trauma to the head.
