If Greggs is your go-to and you'd like to try something new – this is for you.
Today, Greggs has announced that it will be adding another delicious item to its vegan friendly range, behold the Vegan sausage, bean and cheeze melt.
The newest addition will be available on August 5, which will hit shelves in over 2,000 shops nationwide (subject to availability) priced from £1.60.
Bursting with delicious ingredients, the all-new vegan bake is a bit of a mouthful – in more ways than one.
It's designed to mirror some of the iconic features of the original sausage, bean and cheese melt and the vegan friendly version is also wrapped in layers of golden puff pastry.
Instead of the classic fillings, it’s loaded with chunky pieces of vegan sausage, grated original and mozzarella flavoured vegan 'cheeze' and of course, lashings of tasty baked beans.

Hannah Squirrell, customer director at Greggs, said: “The latest addition to our menu gives customers another vegan friendly alternative to one of our most iconic menu items.
As we expand our vegan options with the launch of our new Vegan Sausage, Bean and CheeZe Melt, we mark another milestone as we continue with our journey to become our customers’ favourite destination for food-on-the-go.”
The leading food-on-the-go retailer has been treating the tastebuds of the UK’s vegans, flexitarians and pasty fans since 2019 when it launched its infamous Vegan Sausage Roll, then followed by the Vegan Steak Bake in 2020. Both drove huge levels of demand, with over half of shops selling out within minutes on launch day.
