DEAR DEIDRE: FROM my late teens, I was classed as clinically obese but now that I’ve lost all my excess fat, I can’t help but resent my boyfriend.
I’ve lost over 100lb and look and feel so much better. I’m now a size 16 and I have curves in all the right places.

It wasn’t easy losing the weight. First of all I lost 62lb after having a gastric band fitted.
Then I treated myself to a Fitbit and managed to lose another 40-odd lbs.
I’m 29 and he’s 30.
My confidence is back but I feel so conflicted because my boyfriend is all over me. He sends me sexy texts and is really loving. But where was he when I was fat? He never said a thing about my weight – nothing negative, nothing positive – even when I asked him.
It hurts because I wonder why I didn’t get this sort of attention when I was big.
I feel sad for the fat woman that I was, and still carry her around with me.
