Teddi Mellencamp may no longer be a “housewife,” but she can still party like one.
“Do not hold me accountable to anything for the next 78 hours,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum wrote on her Instagram Stories while documenting her tropical 40th birthday celebration.
Mellencamp — who was joined by friends and family, including husband Edwin Arroyave and former co-stars Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards — posted snaps and videos from a lavish resort in Mexico on Wednesday.
“Not [too] shabby. Thank you baby,” she wrote on her Story to Arroyave. “Love this belated [birthday] gift.”
Mellencamp’s trip began innocently enough with cocktails by the pool with her friends, with the warning to followers of what was to come.
During dinner, which featured filet mignon and seared tuna with rice and vegetables, friends toasted the reality star, whose actual birthday was July 1.
“Who’d ever think that you would find one of your best friends in the entire world making reality television,” Richards said to the table, while Rinna screamed during her turn with the microphone, “It’s Teddi’s f–king 40th birthday!”
The evening turned into a full-blown dance party with guests dancing to house music and Richards, 52, breaking into splits on the dance floor.
“I couldn’t ask for better friends and a more amazing husband for making this all happen,” Mellencamp captioned a series of photos on Thursday. “Woke up this morning feeling grateful and laughing watching our insta stories from last night. Day 1 in the books. What kind of trouble should we get in today?”
The celebrations continued with all her guests wearing matching swimsuits that read, “Teddi 1981.”
“Tequila Terry is in full effect,” She wrote alongside the photo, adding, “PS. How many shots of tequila do you think it took to get @tedwinator and @mumansky18 into these?”
On Thursday, castmate Dorit Kemsley and her husband P.K. Kemsley arrived at the party.
“We’ve joined the celebrations,” she wrote on her Instagram Story while dancing in one of the custom-made swimsuits. “Happy Birthday Teddi!”
Mellencamp was on Seasons 8-10 of “RHOBH” before the network decided not to renew her contract.
“It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast, with the crew and you get to do incredible things that you’d probably never get to experience without the show,” she said at the time.
Despite being sad at the time, she revealed in May that she will be making an appearance in the show’s 11th season.
