Tom Parker's devastated wife Kelsey paid a lengthy and emotional tribute to him as she announced that he had passed away from a brain tumour at the age of 33.
The couple had spoken about wanting to have more children in one of their heartbreaking last joint interviews.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, admitted that while they hoped the New Year could see them becoming parents for the third time, they felt very lucky to have Aurelia and Bodhi already.
Kelsey mentioned: "Everything happens for a reason. We're blessed we've got a boy and a girl. The age gap was short."
Tom agreed, adding: "So if we didn't have any more, we'd be happy," as Kelsey interjected: "But we will have more!"
Further opening up about how they see their 2022 playing out, Tom answered at the time: "Hopefully cancer-free, more babies and more shows with The Wanted."
The couple had a beautiful love story and often shared beautiful family photos on social media.
Tom and Kelsey met in a nightclub back in 2009 just before he found fame with boy band The Wanted. Despite the group’s hectic tour schedule and legion of female fans, Tom and Kelsey remained devoted to each other.
They went on to get engaged in 2016, and got married in a beautiful ceremony covered exclusively by OK! in July 2018.
It took place at Ridge Farm in Surrey, with Tom branding it "the best day of his life" for himself and his new wife.
They opened up on their marriage after their wedding and explained that they instantly knew they were meant to be.
"It was literally love at first sight," Kelsey said. "I saw him outside a nightclub in London and I grabbed my friend and said: ‘Oh my god, I love him.’ He’s the love of my life. The boys always say we’re the boy and girl version of each other, which is why it works."
Tom added: "It was instant. I knew as soon as I saw her that I saw her as the mother of my children."
Tom and Kelsey had their first child, a daughter, Aurelia, in June 30 2019, announcing her birth on Instagram with an adorable snap.
Then, in May 2020, Tom and Kelsey announced exclusively to OK! magazine that they were expecting their second child, a baby boy.
The couple later welcomed their second child into the world, with Tom's bandmate Max George sharing the happy news on ITV's Lorraine.
Kelsey showed unwavering support for her husband following his brain tumour diagnosis.
The couple spoke to OK! about the difficult news they had received and as his world came crashing down around him, it was wife Kelsey who had to step up, putting her final weeks of pregnancy to the back of her mind to focus on being there for her shell-shocked husband.
"I’m still in complete shock, it’s so much to take in," Tom said at the time, "I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you."
Kelsey said: "It has been a crazy six weeks. We had an inkling that something was wrong in July, but we never could have imagined it was this."
Three weeks before he died, Tom share a beautiful video tribute wishing his wife a happy birthday.
"Happy Birthday to the love of my life @being_kelsey have the best day! You deserve the world," the star penned to his wife as they danced and kissed in unseen wedding footage.
