The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, paid a visit to London’s Natural History Museum on Wednesday wearing a very autumnal outfit: a berry-colored pointelle sweater by Warehouse ($50), khaki green Jigsaw culottes ($108) and burgundy pumps from Tod’s.
Middleton finished her ensemble with a matching quilted Chanel flap bag that originally retailed for over $4,000.
The mom of three is no stranger to mixing pricey designer pieces with bargain buys when it comes to her closet, regularly pairing J.Crew jeans with Tory Burch coats, for instance, or teaming an under-$100 maternity dress with an $80,000 Cartier necklace.
“Kate seems to shop like every other woman who lives in New York,” Town & Country’s editor-in-chief Stellene Volandes told the Post in 2014. “A bit of Zara, some designer and custom when required.”
