In a case that gripped the whole world, Johnny Depp recently won a defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard who accused him of domestic violence.
The trial was broadcast live online with millions tuning in to see the twists and turns and hear about the pair’s volatile marriage.
Amber claimed that she was the victim of domestic abuse in an op-ed piece in the Washington Post but in a shock verdict a jury ruled that she had defamed Depp, 58.
She has been ordered to pay him $8 million in damages.
To celebrate his victory the Pirates of the Caribbean star joined TikTok and made a jubilant clip thanking his legion of fans who stood by him and started the hashtag justiceforjohnny.
He has already got 5.1m followers and in response to the video, Amber, 36, issued a statement saying: “As Johnny Depp says he's ‘moving forward’, women's rights are moving backwards.
“The verdict's message to victims of domestic violence is … be afraid to stand up and speak out.”
The clip shows Depp arriving at the courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia, and also footage of him playing the guitar on stage.
He captioned the video: “To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together.
“We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared.
“And now, we will all move forward together.
“You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD.
Meanwhile, Depp’s badass lawyer Camille Vasquez has been given a hefty promotion.
She has been made a partner of her law firm after her slam dunk victory – she impressed viewers so much she has become somewhat of a celebrity in her own right.
