She’s an actor, a singer, a songwriter, a dancer, and an entrepreneur. Less than a year after the first collaboration between Beyoncé’s clothing company, IVY PARK, and Adidas, another collection dropped.

Beyoncé released the second IVY PARK x Adidas collection
Who doesn’t want to dress like Beyoncé? This October, the Grammy award-winning artist released a new collection with Adidas, complete with plus sizes, gender-neutral clothing, and bold, bright colors. There were even some sneakers sporting the iconic Adidas style with colors chosen by Queen Bey herself.
Within a matter of hours, this second “drip” sold out online and in stores, with fans praising Beyoncé’s refreshed color palette. During one interview, Beyoncé shared that spending time with her daughter was actually the inspiration for this collection.
Beyoncé shared the inspiration behind this clothing line
What made Beyoncé choose these bright colors for a fall collection? During her British Vogue cover story, Beyoncé shared that her time spent with Blue Ivy helped inspire the latest collection of Ivy Park X Adidas clothes.
“During quarantine, fashion was a place of escape for me,” Beyoncé said. “My kids and I came up with Fashion Fridays. Every Friday, we would dress up in my clothes or make clothes together and take each other’s pictures. It became a ritual for us and an opportunity to handle this crazy year together.”
“The newest Ivy Park collection was inspired by this new tradition, she continued. “It consciously uses bright, bold colors to remind us to smile. I used a lot of neon yellow and coral mixed with baby blue and earth tones that felt soothing. They brought me joy and made me smile in the midst of a tough time for all of us.”
The first IVY PARK x Adidas collection debuted during January 2020
This would be the artist’s second collaboration with Adidas. The first drop came during January 2020, complete with athleisure in hues of maroon, white, and orange. Within a matter of hours, the collection sold out online and in stores.
Aside from her latest Ivy Park collection, Beyoncé has been considerably busy, releasing the song “Black Parade” and the visual album exclusive to Disney’s streaming platform, Black is King, featuring the music of The Lion King: The Gift.
The artist also shared her well wishes for the Class of 2020 during one YouTube Original special titled, “Dear Class of 2020…” She sang “When You Wish Upon a Star” for ABC’s Disney Family Singalong and encouraged fans to vote via her social media platforms.
Music by Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, including “Brown Skin Girl,” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and most major streaming platforms. To learn more about the Ivy Park X Adidas collaboration, visit Beyoncé’s website.
