Dancing on Ice stunner Maura Higgins has taken to social media to post a glam snap just days after being rushed to A&E after a knife accident left her finger “sliced to the bone”

The 31-year-old former Love Island contestant looked sensational as she posed in a polka dot minidress on a beach in the Maldives with a spectacular sunset backdrop behind her.

She shot a sultry look at the camera with her brown locks tied back into a bun as she accessorized with subtle makeup, small gold hoop earrings and bangles on her wrist.

“Swipe for a smile,” Maura captioned the post, before shooting a a big smile off into the distance in the following pic.

Fellow Love Island stars were quick to comment on the stunning snap, with Shaughna Phillips commenting: “So beautiful”. Lucie Donaln gushed: “You lil cutieeeee” and Molly-Mae Hague, who was her love rival on the series, said: “My cutie” followed by a string of heart emojis.

The Irish star took the lavish trip to mark her 31st birthday.

The former grid girl splurged on the lavish vaca after becoming a millionaire thanks to her popularity on Love Island.

The star has managed to turn her fame into a huge money-spinner thanks to a string of deals.

Maura bagged £500,000 from both clothing brand Boohoo and lingerie giant Ann Summers, where she is the face of their new swimwear range.

She also made £250,000 from tan company Bellamianta and another £150,000 for appearing on ITV series Dancing on Ice.

The picture comes after the Irish star was rushed to hospital after slicing her finger in a terrifying knife accident.

Maura took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to share a picture of her fuzzy Louis Vuitton slippers with the caption: "Ended up in A&E after slicing my finger to the bone."

She also added: "Happy F**king Monday."

Known for posting saucy snaps to her 3.3million followers, Maura was recently forced to hit back at accusations that she'd Photoshopped her pictures to add sculpted abs.

She'd been enjoying a girls' night out with pal Molly-Mae Hague when some suggested she'd altered her picture to appear more ripped.

Fuming Maura hit back by sharing a video that showed her swiping through the photos from her night out at London's Restaurant Ours.

She opened her camera roll to prove the snaps in there were exactly the same as the ones on her Instagram feed and that no changes had been made to them.
