Eamonn Holmes shares health update as fans rush to support him after horror fall

TV icon Eamonn Holmes has been sent messages of support as he shared an update on his road to recovery.

The 63-year-old, who used to present ITV's This Morning alongside wife Ruth Langsford, slipped three discs in his back in 2021 which left him reliant on a walking stick for mobility.

To add insult to injury, the TV star then fell down 18 steps at his home in Weybridge causing him to injure his back and shoulder even further.

After being examined by doctors, the star was found to have three slipped discs that were impacting movement of his right leg and causing "agonising" pain.

Things took a turn for the worst when in May 2022 he then fell down the stairs at home with his spinal issued also causing complications for his bladder and bowel.

Eamonn has remained open and honest with fans and delivered regular health updates including glimpses of his ongoing physiotherapy sessions as he continues to recover.
