EastEnders Kellie Bright seen with newborn for first time after giving birth

The 45-year-old actress took her youngest child with her to run some errands in Hertfordshire after it was announced that the EastEnders star recently welcomed her third child with husband Paul Stocker.

The actress, who plays Linda Carter in the soap, is "thrilled" to be a mum again after a gruelling IVF ordeal.

She said at the time: "The first two embryos didn’t work. This baby was the last one we had – the last chance of a pregnancy, because at 44 we were not going through IVF again."

Writers created a baby plot for Linda to coincide with her pregnancy.

Kellie headed out in a yellow dress and some sliders as she pinned her hair back while taking her tot out for the day while she did some errands.

She was seen putting her baby into the pram before going on to do the various jobs she had on the list that day.

The first snaps of Kellie and her newborn comes just after it was confirmed that she had given birth to her third child.

Kellie and her husband have welcomed her third child alongside her two youngsters, Freddy, 9 and Gene, 4.

Kellie confirmed the news to OK! as she said: "We're thrilled to announce the safe arrival of the latest addition to our family. Mum and baby are doing well."

The actress also shared a photo of her newborn with a snap of their hand gripped tightly around Kellie's finger in a heart-warming photo.

She is still yet to reveal anything on her own socials after confirming the news to the publication.

Her journey to her third pregnancy was no easy task, with the actress previously telling OK! that she was in floods of tears and couldn't stop crying after finding out that she was pregnant with their third child.

She had confirmed that it was her last shot, after storing just three extra embryos following the birth of Gene, though the first two were unsuccessful.

Kellie confessed she didn't feel like she was "done" with having children, so she wanted to give it another try – and now the pair have welcomed their third youngster.

Her pregnancy was written into EastEnders, with the due date nearing, so it's likely we'll see another little Carter in the soap imminently.
