Geordie Shores Charlotte Crosby says exes werent rich enough to marry her

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has poked fun at her ex-boyfriends and said they “weren’t rich enough” for her.

During a recent Q+A session, the 31-year-old said that her current boyfriend Jake Ankers is the “only one” who could afford the engagement ring she’s set her sights on.

Charlotte was asked by fans whether Jake was “hubby material,” to which she replied: “Put it this way. He’s the only one who would be able to afford us the ring of my dreams. It’s funny because it’s true.”

Jake then chimed in and hinted at his plans for her: “We’ve got twenty-something…”

Assuming he was talking about the amount of money he was planning to spend on a ring, Charlotte quickly shut him down and called him an “idiot” for revealing “prices”.

The pair reportedly met through mutual friends and she quickly began dating the businessman, who has two restaurants listed in his Instagram bio.

In January, Crosby took to Instagram to inform her followers that she didn’t make a “2021 reel” – a popular trend in which users compile throwback clips from the previous year – because it was “s***”.

However, she went on to say that “January has been epic” and showed a clip of her new man, whose identity she had previously kept quiet.

It’s believed that the couple began dating in November 2021 and reports have said that Charlotte moved in with him in December.

A source told The Sun: “Charlotte has made no secret about wanting to marry Jake. She has been telling everyone how different this relationship is. She’s been careful to keep it as private as possible because she wants to enjoy it without any outside influence.”

The reality star has also introduced her new partner to her father, Gary.

The source said that Charlotte’s father is a “really big fan” of Jake and that the pair have been hanging out one-on-one.

They also confirmed that Charlotte is “hoping” Jake will “ask her dad for permission” to marry her.

Prior to Jake, Charlotte dated cinematographer Liam Beaumont but the pair split in 2020, which Charlotte insisted was “amicable” as they realised they were “two very different people”.
