Former Loose Women presenter Saira Khan has hit out at Wayne Rooney in a scathing rant after he was seen asleep in a hotel room surrounded by young women.
Wayne, 35, was seen sleeping on a chair as three women partied around him, taking pictures with him in the background.
Mum-of-two Saira slammed Wayne's behaviour, saying that if her own husband Steve, who she has been married to since 2004, had treated her the way Wayne has treated wife Coleen she would "show him the red card".
After the pictures of Wayne emerged, Coleen quickly went to Wales for a getaway whilst he made a grovelling apology.
There was no suggestion that the former England player acted inappropriately or was aware of what was going on around him.
He told Sky Sports News: "I made a mistake.

"I went to a private party with two of my friends and from me, I'd like to apologise to my family and the club for the images which were going round and I want to move forward on this.
"I'm grateful to Derby County for giving me this opportunity to get this club back to where it belongs, and I'll do everything in my power to make sure I do that.

"It's dealt with. I'm looking forward to moving forward and preparing for another game on Sunday."
However, Saira has remained unimpressed and has hit out at the Derby manager in her Mirror column, writing: "Why on earth does the multi-millionaire father of four take risks that land him in hot water and humiliate his family?
"If he were my hubby and he’d caused me such embarrassment, I’d have shown him the red card years ago. For me, trust and respect in a relationship are sacrosanct.

"I wouldn’t want my kids to be raised in an environment where these values are constantly abused and disregarded."
Saira then went on to say she understood that it wouldn't be easy for Coleen to leave her husband, who she shares four sons with, saying "you need to think about the kids."
She finished off by swiping at "foolish' Wayne to "grow up and learn that his foul play has consequences".
The women involved have since apologised to Wayne for the embarrassment and sold him the copyright of the pictures for £1.
