BBC Breakfast fans seriously distracted by Sally Nugent's outfit – claiming it 'belongs in a nightclub' | The Sun

BBC Breakfast fans were seriously distracted by Sally Nugent's outfit today – claiming it "belongs in a nightclub".

Sally, 51, was joined by Jon Kay, 53, on the red sofa after he was absent from Monday's programme.

While Jon was suited and booted as usual, Sally opted for a purple biker jacket with gold zip detailing, which she had zipped almost all the way up.

She wore it with figure hugging black trousers and high heels, and her ensemble prompted a number of comments on Twitter from BBC Breakfast viewers.

One wrote: "Has @sallynugent just come straight from clubbing in Manchester?"

Another added: "Biker girl vibes from @sallynugent this morning, gorgeous jacket."

It isn't the first time Sally has worn the jacket, and it isn't the first time viewers have commented on it either.

Back in January when she wore it, one wrote: "Loving the biker look, can't wait for Newswatch complainers :)."

Another added: "Loving your top this morning. Please can you tell me where it’s from?!"

A third tweeted alongside a screenshot of Sally: "Who’s the rock chick on the sofa??"

However, another viewer had a burning question based off today's outfit.

They wrote: "How come the female presenters on @BBCBreakfast get to dress more fabulous and more casual than the male presenters who have to dress in more stiff looking suit and ties?

"I love what @sallynugent is wearing. Men should be able to be more casual as well."

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
