Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank thanks NHS for 'glueing him back'

Coronation Street star’s Daniel Brocklebank thanked the NHS for ‘glueing him back together’ after a kitchen accident.

The soap star accidentally injured himself with a knife and had to go to the hospital, swiftly thanking them for their services.

‘Had a small accident in the kitchen today involving a knife & my hand..’ he wrote on Twitter.

‘#NHS staff utterly amazing. These guys deserve so much more than they get! Thank you for gluing me together!’

Fans quickly took to his post to make sure the star – whose on-screen character is currently in a romance with Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) – was okay.

‘Not good when that happens,’ one concerned fan said. ‘Hope you’re ok and it heals soon. NHS staff are amazing and they should be proud of themselves.’

One nurse commented: ‘As a nurse, thank you for your kind words. It’s much appreciated. Hope your hand gets better soon x’

‘Our NHS is amazing. Glad your experience was good. Happy healing Mr Brocklebank x,’ another posted.

The kitchen incident is the latest in Daniel’s struggles, after he revealed he was banned for a dating app – as it didn’t believe that he was authentic!

The popular actor was advised by his mum to see if he could find romance on the online site – but he reckons that the ban is fate telling him that it wasn’t the right path.

‘My mum suggested I join a dating site – I did and they banned my profile because they thought I was impersonating myself.’

Let’s hope he has better luck elsewhere!
