Corrie abuser Geoff downfall ‘worked out’ by fans as new victim is confirmed

Coronation Street 's Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) has found himself a new victim in a shocking twist on Friday's episode.

Fans were left stunned as Geoff's new love interest was revealed on the soap, just hours after he tried to get Alya arrested.

Geoff was left livid after realising Alya had been following him to try and get dirt on him after suspecting he was seeing someone else.

He managed to trick her by taking her to Speed Daal, where he met an elderly woman that he was keeping company.

Geoff then called the police to report Alya for harassment, seemingly getting the upper hand.

He was then seen going for dinner with a new woman, honing in on his new victim.

But as she seemed suspicious about his story about Alya stalking him, could she end up cottoning on to his abusive ways?

One fan wrote: "I knew it!

"Geoff has got his next victim lined up!

"He seems to have Christine fooled since she thinks he's a nice guy, so generous to buy champagne with Yasmeen's money but hopefully she'll find out the truth about him.

"I really don't get what anyone sees in that creep!"
