Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) could be set to lose her son Noah (Jack Downham), after he overdoses on drugs and is left fighting for his life. The pub landlady has been through a lot and things don’t look like they’re going get brighter just yet as tragedy strikes.
Viewers have watched as Charity becomes increasingly concerned about her granddaughter Sarah Sugden’s (Sophia Moore) friendship with devious newcomer Danny (Louis Healy), and it’s become clear he has dark motives.
A few weeks ago, fans saw the dodgy youngster supply teenage party-goers with pills while they celebrated at a get-together.
And since then, drugs have become a highlight in some of the current storylines.
Noah was a key player in trying to stop Sarah taking drugs at the party, with her health constantly on his mind as he worries that Danny is a bad influence on his young niece.
In episodes set to air this week, Noah will see Danny try to offer Sarah more pills while they sneakily drink up at the cricket pavilion.
Will Noah intervene?

In a bid to save Sarah from possibly ending her own life if the pills have an adverse affect on her health conditions, might he take the pills instead?
Whatever happens, he takes a pill some way or another as the troubled teen finds himself in hospital after he falls unconscious.
But will he die?
Spoiler’s haven’t confirmed the fate of the young Dingle, so it’s been left to viewer’s imagination to work out what is going to happen.
Emmerdale’s executive producer Jane Hudson, revealed that Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) will somehow be implicated in the tragedy and Charity will blame him.
With Graham set to meet a shocking end in a whodunit storyline in the new year, will Charity find herself as a suspect for his murder?
Jane told Metro.co.uk: “Noah is trying to look after Sarah and it’s all going horribly wrong.
“In this story, you see Charity being a mum and a parent with Vanessa. Charity blames Graham for what happens to Noah – it starts off being about the drugs but it turns into something else…”
The ominous words will definitely spark suspicion among fans of the ITV show, wondering whether Noah’s overdose was an accident or not and whether he will survive or meet his end just before Christmas.

Elsewhere in the Dales, another death could be on the cards causing more heartbreak for the Dingle family.
But it’s not one of their own who’s life will be on the line.
Aaron Dingle continues struggling to live without his beloved husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who left the show a few weeks ago as his character got sent down for life after murdering rapist, Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie).
And to make matters worse, Lee’s mum Wendy (Susan Cookson) and her other son Luke (Max Parker) have decided to make their move to the village permanent, to be closer to his victim Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) and her unborn baby.

Aaron’s clearly not happy and takes it upon himself to try and drive the pair out of the village, with their presence too much to bear knowing that Robert’s life is ruined because of Lee.
But in doing so, he comes face to face with Luke in an epic showdown.
In upcoming episodes, tensions run high between the two and Aaron decides to pay him a visit.
As they argue, viewers will watch as the mechanic picks up a golf club as Luke turns his back on him, showing his vicious intentions.
But will he go through with it?
Is Aaron prepared to lose everything he has left, just to get revenge?
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
