Fans of The Great British Bake Off were left distracted by Gemma Collins' hair in the most recent episode of the beloved cooking show.
The former The Only Way is Essex star, 42, who has recently made the decision to undergo genetic testing following her mum's cancer scare, was appearing on the most recent episode of the celebrity version of the show in aid of charity Stand Up to Cancer.
She appeared on the show alongside television presenter AJ Odudu, actress Jessica Stevenson and comedian Tim Key.
Despite the star-studded line up, many viewers were left distracted by Gemma's two different hairstyles throughout the episode.
Usually the show is filmed over two days, with contestants expected to wear the same clothes and do their hair and make up in the same way for continuity – however, it appears Gemma didn't get the memo.
It was a subtle difference, but in certain shots her half up, half down curled style had an added braid on either side of her head.
"Gemma’s hair changes every time the camera is on her #GBBO," wrote one viewer.
Another added: "Anyone else noticed that Gemma’s hair keeps switching between a ponytail and a plait thing?" with a laughing face emoji.
While another joked: "The editing of Gemma’s different hairstyles is sending me over the edge…..did she not get the memo that she was meant to look the same #GBBO."
Others weren't just distracted by Gemma's changing hairstyle, but by hers and Jessica's long tresses in general.
"Don't understand why the women who come on this show don't tie their hair up," one viewer complained.
Another agreed: "Extra ingredient in whatever Gemma bakes will be at least one hair. Dozens no doubt. Tie your hair back, woman."
"Tie that hair back," wrote a third, adding: "Wouldn't want to eat those."
"At least AJ has tied her long hair back," wrote another angry fan.
Some weren't distracted by the hair at all, instead by Gemma's outrageous flirting with judge Paul Hollywood, as she jokingly told host Noel Fielding that Paul was "the only reason" she did the show.
At the end of the episode, she was overjoyed as Paul gave her a celebratory hug, perhaps more excited than most contestants usually are when they're offered his famous Hollywood Handshake.
"OH MY GOD!" she exclaimed. "Paul Hollywood cuddled me!"
Gemma was determined to win the Star Baker apron, and although she hadn't done particularly well during the show, she certainly fell at the final hurdle when her showstopper's pastry was uncooked.
