GMB beauty Lucy Verasamy’s life off-camera – from new boyfriend to luxury trips

Lucy Verasamy is known for being a forecaster for Good Morning Britain and ITV weather.

The 40-year-old meteorologist joined GMB in 2017 and before that worked for an array of television shows like Sky News, 5 News and Daybreak.

Lucy mostly keeps her private life out of the spotlight, but she does have social media sites to keep her followers in the loop about her day-to-day life.

She uses Twitter to update her devoted fans about what she gets up to during the day, and regularly shares snaps to her Instagram page to show off the adventures she enjoys away from the ITV studios.

The brunette beauty is also in a relationship with her mystery boyfriend.

In terms of her love life, Lucy rarely shares insights into her romances, but the TV star has mentioned her mystery beau numerous times.

Lucy has referred to her secret partner without revealing his identity and it seems the couple are living together during lockdown.

Earlier this week, she enlisted the help of her boyfriend before unveiling her latest lockdown hairstyle.

Lucy has resorted to cutting her own hair during the pandemic and said her partner helped with her hair transformation.

The weather presenter had replied to editor-and-chief, Jess Brammar's Twitter post.

Jess had said: "Potentially another seven weeks to hairdressers opening. Anyone hacked at their own hair or trained someone in their household to do it? I’m getting desperate."

A social media user wrote: "Think @LucyWeather managed it."

Jess replied: "I can't tell if you’re just being rude…but if not, tell me your secrets, Lucy!"

Lucy then revealed she used a sewing kit and her boyfriend helped cut her hair.

The media star penned to her 168,000 followers: "Hot tip: used sharp-ish scissors from a smart (unused) sewing kit."

"I did the front and my boyfriend did the back. A shaky start but it all worked out. I think", she added.

Away from the cameras, Lucy enjoys a jet-set lifestyle and shares many snaps on Instagram about her trips away.

She's obviously not been able to enjoy her globe-trotting recently due to lockdown, but before the pandemic, Lucy went on many exciting adventures.

In 2017, she travelled to Zambia for an astounding safari before indulging in her passion for golf while at the stunning Quinta do Lago golf resort in Portugal.

Lucy, who is passionate about health and fitness, showed off her flexibility on a retreat with training programme Paola's BodyBarre, which combines elements of Pilates and ballet, in beautiful Mykonos.

The weather reported also loves a city break and has posted amazing snaps while sightseeing in Berlin, Los Angeles and New York.

Despite not being able to travel abroad for a holiday, Lucy did enjoy a staycation in August 2020 as she went to Scotland.

She updated her Instagram fans about her scenic holiday that included hiking and stunning beaches.

Lucy's career began back in 2005 when she worked as a regular weather presenter on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise.

She joined ITV in 2010 and has fronted their national weather forecasts since 2012.

As well as being a regular on GMB, Lucy is also part of the ITV racing team.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
