Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold lets slip Laura Tobin is plotting to sign up for Strictly 2021

GOOD Morning Britain's Richard Arnold let slip Laura Tobin is plotting to sign up for Strictly 2021.

The presenter told how colleague Ranvir Singh – who is currently competing in the BBC dance show – is furious at him and Charlotte Hawkins for not "telling her the truth" about the demands of Strictly.

Richard said today: "She was saying, 'you always told us it was great fun but no one has ever told us just how to difficult it was'.

"You're in the firing line for that too, Charlotte.

"Tears and tantrums there are, but at the end of the day it all counts on the performance doesn't it."

He then gave away the fact Laura is considering being the next GMB star to compete on Strictly.

Richard added: "She did say if Laura throws her name into the mix, possibly next year, that she will actually tell her the truth about what it's really like."

Charlotte replied: "You want people to enjoy the experience.

"You don't want to tell them about all the blisters and the aches and the pains."

Ranvir follows in the footsteps of her GMB colleagues Richard, Charlotte, Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway who have all graced the Strictly dancefloor.

The 43-year-old has impressed viewers with her incredible dance talents just two weeks into the competition.

But she admitted it's been hard work behind the scenes, revealing she stormed out of rehearsals and refused to speak to her dance partner Giovanni Pernice after having a "meltdown".
