Has Rachel Riley given birth?

COUNTDOWN star Rachel Riley is currently on maternity leave.

Fans are now keen to know if the maths whizz has finally given birth.

Has Rachel Riley given birth?

Rachel Riley gave birth to another baby girl on November 5, 2021.

The star posted on Instagram: "We have some news…!

"Introducing Pasha’s newest dance partner – baby Noa was finally born, 15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks!

"She’s totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that’s a good sign. 😆💕"

What is her daughter's name and what does it mean?

Rachel has called her baby daught Noa.

According to the website nameberry.com, Noa is a girl's name of Hebrew origin, meaning "motion."

The description reads: "This Old Testament female name has been one of the most popular girls’ names in Israel over the last decade."

The name is believed to also be highly popular in Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands.

The description continues: "There is a female figure in the Old Testament named Noa or Noah, whose name derives from the Hebrew No'ah, meaning "motion".

"Noa is the modern Hebrew spelling of the female name, but it is also found as a variant spelling of the male name Noah – popular in countries including France, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina."

How many children does Rachel Riley have?

The new arrival will be her second child with ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Pasha Kovalev.

The pair married in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019 and welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Maven, just over six months later in December 2019.

Rachel and Pasha first met when they were partnered up on the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Who will replace her on Countdown?

Unfortunately for expectant fans, it's not yet known who – if anyone – will replace Rachel on Countdown.

Rachel has been a staple of the show ever since she replaced Carol Vorderman in 2009 at the age of just 22.

It was her first ever television gig – and she only applied for the role after her mother encouraged her to do so.

Rachel reportedly had to beat out more than 1,000 other candidates for the role.

Rachel also appears in the same role on the show's spin-off, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, which launched in 2012.
