Heres the stars of XO, Kitty, the To All the Boys Netflix spin-off

XO, Kitty was officially confirmed two years ago following the roaring success of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise.

While it was once all about Lara Jean Covey’s (played by Lana Condor) love life, it is now Kitty Song Covey’s (Anna Cathcart) to step into the spotlight with all 10 episodes of XO, Kitty coming out on Thursday, May 18, on Netflix.

Who is in the cast of XO, Kitty?

Kitty Song Covey – Anna Cathcart

Kitty is the youngest of the Covey sisters who is now 18 and transfers to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) in Seoul, South Korea.

She is attending the school for her junior year at the same age her late mother did when she was a teenager.

Apart from the To All the Boys film franchise, Canadian actress Anna Cathcart is behind Olympia in the PBS Kids series Odd Squad and played Dizzy in Descendants 2 and 3.

Dae Heon Kim – Minyeong Choi

As well as wanting to feel closer to her deceased mum, Kitty wants to travel to Seoul to meet up again with her long-distance boyfriend Dae.

Actor Minyeong Choi has been in a number of K-dramas, including Entertainer, Strong Girl Bong-soon, Twenty Five Twenty One, Itaewon Class and Mr Sunshine.

Yuri Han – Gia Kim

Yuri is a rich social media star who is the daughter of a powerful businessman and the principal of KISS.

This is theatre graduate Gia Kim’s first major role and according to Netflix, she was working as a waitress when her manager told her that she had booked XO, Kitty.

Min Ho – Sang Heon

Min Ho is used to getting his way, especially after his parents had a messy divorce and he was left to his own devices.

Despite his priveleged demeanour, Min is a very good friend to his classmate and Kitty’s love interest Dae.

Like Kim, Sang Heon is very new to the entertainment industry but apart from XO, Kitty, he is going to feature in the movie Gran Turismo which is based on a true story of a teenager becoming a professional race car driver.

Quincy ‘Q’ Shabazian – Anthony Keyvan

He is one of KISS’ openly gay students with actor Anthony Keyvan telling Tudum: “the writers decided to make him half Iranian, half Filipino like me!”

Keyvan has had minor roles on shows like NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy but is probably best recognised for playing Rahim in Love, Victor.

Florian – Théo Augier

French student Florian is played by Théo Augier who has appeared in various French-language projects and most notably the teen fantasy series Endless Night.

John Corbett and Sarayu Rao will be back to reprise their roles as Kitty’s dad Dr Covey and step-mum Trina respectively.

Corbett famously portrayed Aidan Shaw in Sex and the City and most recently featured in the sitcom, How I Met Your Father.

Sarayu, on the other hand, is best recognised for Sons of Tucson and Monday Mornings.

As of yet, it hasn’t been confirmed if Lara Jean actress Lana Condor will be reprising her role for the spin-off.

XO, Kitty premieres on Thursday, May 18, on Netflix.
