Chrissy and John announced they were expecting a baby August 13, 2020.

At the time, the couple didn't reveal when their baby was due.

Sadly on September 30, 2020, when Chrissy was around 20 to 24 weeks pregnant, she revealed she had suffered a miscarriage, after bleeding heavily.

Her baby was due to be born in either February or March 2021.

What has Chrissy Teigen said about her miscarriage?

Chrissy revealed the devastating news on Twitter.

Accompanied by a series of heart-rending black and white photos of her grieving in hospital, she wrote: "We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.

"We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough."

Chrissy shared that she and John had already named the son that they lost.

She continued: "We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital.  

"But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us."

Chrissy and John have two children.

They have a four-year-old daughter Luna.
