How many episodes are in The Bay season 3?
The Bay season three starts tonight, Wednesday, January 12, at 9pm on ITV.
Season one made its debut in March 2019 and due to filming delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, series two didn’t begin until January 2021.
The first two series of the crime drama were made up of six episodes each.
Following this pattern, season three of The Bay will also consist of six episodes.
A new episode of The Bay will air on ITV every Wednesday for the next six weeks.
This means the grand finale of season three is going to be shown on Wednesday, February 16.
However, there is an alternative way to watch the drama if you’re not keen on waiting more than a month for the last episode.
The Bay is also going to be available to watch on ITV Hub.
Once the first episode has aired on ITV, the entirety of The Bay season three will be released on the streaming service.
Unlike other streamers such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, ITV Hub is free to use.
Viewers only need to register an email address to be able to get access to its extensive library of shows.
So there is no need to wait as fans of The Bay will be able to watch all of series three in one go via ITV Hub.

This time around, The Bay is going to be very different as DS Lisa Armstrong (Morven Christie) will no longer star.
She was demoted at the end of season one and helped crack the case in series two but it was Lisa’s on-off relationship with husband Andy (Joe Absolom) that put the final nail in the coffin.
He was trying to rekindle a connection with his family but failed to tell Lisa he had been with another woman who had his child.
While Lisa’s exit wasn’t shown, it is believed she left Morecambe with the kids to start afresh somewhere else.
This meant there was a job vacancy going at the police station with DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason) will fill.
She is going to be thrown into the deep end on her first day on the job though as a body is discovered.
It will be Townsend’s job to try and work with a “complicated and grieving family” if they are to have any hope of catching an aspiring boxer’s killer.
The Bay season 3 premieres on Wednesday, January 12, at 9pm on ITV.
