I'm A Celebrity 2020: Is Carole Baskin's husband Howard joining the show?

Carole Baskin’s husband Howard has become a surprise new bookies’ fave to join this year’s I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here.

The Tiger King star, who became known for her rivalry with Joe Exotic, was hotly tipped to join this year’s castle, with Ant and Dec even teasing she could be on board.

But now Carole’s been confirmed for Dancing With The Stars in the US – joining the likes of Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, Nelly and Backstreet’s Boys’ AJ McLean.

As a result she’s now firmly out of the running.

But despite Carole previously saying she would never do I’m A Celeb, bookmakers Ladbrokes have now put their odds down on her husband, Howard, taking her place.

Ladbrokes rep Alex Apati said: ‘With Carole now seemingly unavailable, I’m A Celeb chiefs might turn to the next best thing in husband Howard if the latest odds are anything to go by.’

He’s currently 7/1 to be announced on the line-up.

Howard left an impression on Tiger King thanks to his blind devotion to his wife, and their scandalous wedding photos that saw him being walked by Carole with a chain around his neck like a pet.

This year will look very different thanks to its new location of a castle in North Wales, after they were unable to make Australia work.

Gwyrch Castle is reportedly haunted, and the team will have to live on the grounds for three weeks, trading in the heat of the jungle outback for the elements of a late November British winter.

Due to RSPCA guidelines, the disgusting trials, which at times include animal offcuts and Australian delicacies, may also have to be altered.

Rumours of who will be on this year’s series includes Vernon Kay, LadBaby, Love Island’s Amy Hart and AJ Pritchard, who suddenly quit Strictly in March despite initially being confirmed as a pro for the 2020 series.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here returns later this year on ITV.
