Love Island's Amber Gill has had a journey of mixed emotions in the villa – but her chances of romance could be looking up.
After living in the shadow of the rejection from Michael Griffiths, Amber has been firmly in the friend zone of her fellow islanders, spending much of her time with singleton Ovie Soko.
The 21-year-old Geordie was dealt a devastating blow when she came back from Casa Amor, the second villa, to find that her partner Michael had recoupled with Joanna Chimonides, who had arrived in the villa while she was gone.
Viewers at home have felt sorry for Amber after Michael turned on her on more than one occasion, as she sought to find out if there was any connection still there.
She is being given the chance to put her time with Michael well and truly in the past though, as new boy Greg O'Shea awaits her in the hideaway for a romantic date.
Amber received a text saying: "Don’t worry Amber. The boys aren’t having all the fun. Greg is waiting for you on the Hideaway terrace. #guarddown #openminded”
The Irish rugby player is looking for a girl who is loyal and honest and wants to find someone he can completely commit to.
He said before entering the villa: "I'm searching for a girl who is confident in herself, not cocky but she knows her worth.
"I want a girl who backs herself and someone who lives a positive lifestyle."
