Chloe Burrows was not the most popular villa resident when she opted to couple up with Aaron Francis as in a shock move Shannon Singh was dumped.
But tonight’s Love Island instalment sees everything turned on its head once again as Aaron and Sharon Gaffka end up sharing a steamy kiss.
Other islanders have already speculated there could be some unexplored chemistry between the 25 year old civil servant and events host.
But it could come as a blow to Chloe, 25, if she spots the pair getting hot and heavy.
Following the explosive events of the beer pong game that saw Faye Winter, 26, and Brad McClelland, also 26, entering into a huge row, Sharon and Aaron, 24, snuck away for a cosy chat on the terrace.
Aaron admitted he’d already written off any hope of a romance with newcomer Chloe, as there simply isn’t a “romantic connection” between them.
Taken-aback by his directness, Sharon then revealed she wished she’d taken the plunge on the coupling day.
“Do you know what? I would have stepped forward. I don’t know why I didn’t,” she said.
“I was saying to the girls ‘I’ve kissed him [Aaron] more times than I’ve spoken to him.’”

Cheeky islander Aaron then referred back to their previous intimate encounter, as the duo have kissed during both the game and the Horny Devils challenge.
“Am I going to have lipstick all over my face everytime I kiss you?” the economics graduate asked.
The tension increasing between the pair, Sharon declared: “I can’t make any promises.”
The duo then shared a completely private kiss very different to their earlier smooches.
What they didn’t detect, was all the nosy islanders huddled up on the daybeds trying to listen in to the action.
The next day, both Aaron and Sharon were still buzzing from their moment, as Aaron opened up in the Beach Hut: “I’m definitely getting good vibes from Sharon."
Following suit, Sharon later explained she’s excited to see where it could lead, saying: “There is a lot of chemistry between us, and a lot of flirty banter. It’s really good.”
But with Chloe left out in the cold, will she be setting her sights firmly on Brad once and for all?
Elsewhere, fan-favourites Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish have been growing stronger in their own relationship, with Jake admitting he has been “drawn in” by the marketing student’s eyes.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
