Love Island's Zara McDermott looks unrecognisable as she poses in short wig | The Sun

ZARA McDermott looked unrecognisable as she showed off a drastic hair transformation in a new snap.

The former Love Island star, 24, switched up her usual long dark blonde locks for a shorter brunette look.

But it's not a permanent new look as Zara was simply testing out the new colour and style with a wig.

Posting a clip on her Instagram story, she said: "Dying at myself with brown hair.

"I look like someone, but I can't figure out who it is."

Shouting in the background, Zara's boyfriend Sam Thompson offered up: "Priscilla Presley!"

Laughing, Zara replied: "Do you actually think? A bit of a compliment, actually."

She continued: "I can't work out if I like the colour on me or not. Do I dye my hair this colour or not?"

Made in Chelsea star Sam, 29, also showed off a new look – appearing in Zara's clip wearing a curly brown wig.

Zara's new look comes after she revealed her fury at Sam last month when one of their cats went missing after he left the door open.

She said: "So I am in the south west coast of England. I'm filming a new project and I pull up to my hotel, go to get out of the car and I get a message from my cleaner saying 'why did you leave the door open? Your cat's escaped'.

"[Their cat] Albus has escaped into [Sam's sister] Louise and Ryan's garden. I called every single person within the vicinity of the area to come and help because my cleaner couldn't climb the fence to get him back.

"Nobody answered me. And I was just screaming, crying… scared I was never going to see him again. And Sam didn't answer the phone and Sam was the one who left the door open.

"I've never been so angry at him in my whole life."
